Our Mission
Our Mission and Vision
Mission: 127 Haven exists to build Christian families for orphaned and marginalized children in Uganda, transforming lives through love, Biblical discipleship, and quality education.
Vision: We envision a generation of children rescued from poverty and death, raised in Christian families, and equipped to become disciples who transform their communities for Christ.
Our work is guided by James 1:27: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” This verse is not just our inspiration—it is our calling and our commitment.
What Makes 127 Haven Different?
127 Haven transforms lives by building authentic Christian families, not orphanages. Our approach centers on three core pillars that work together to rescue children from hopelessness and give them life and a future:
Family-Centered Care
Every child deserves to grow up in a family. Our children live in family homes with Christian parents who raise them as their own. Currently, 10 children in Uganda are thriving in our family structure, experiencing the love, stability, and belonging that only a true family can provide. This model reflects God’s design for family and creates lasting transformation.
Spiritual Discipleship
At the heart of 127 Haven is our commitment to raising disciples of Jesus Christ. Children receive daily spiritual guidance, participate in family devotions, and learn to walk in faith. We believe that true transformation happens when hearts are changed by the Gospel. Our families are led by the Holy Spirit and grounded in Biblical truth, creating an environment where faith flourishes naturally.
Education and Empowerment
We provide comprehensive education that equips children for successful futures. From primary school through vocational training, we invest in each child’s intellectual and practical development. Education breaks the cycle of poverty and opens doors to opportunity, enabling our children to become productive members of their communities.
